Syracuse offers On300 CB Terhyon Nichols
Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow four-star cornerback Terhyon Nichols received an offer from Syracuse Monday. He announced the news on Twitter.
Nichols is the No. 271 overall prospect and No. 28 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in Ohio.
On3 rates Nichols higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. He is the No. 206 overall prospect, the No. 18 cornerback and No. 7 player in Ohio in the 2024 On300.
Nichols took multiple visits in January visiting Penn State on Jan. 21, Cincinnati on Jan. 22 and Kentucky on Jan. 28.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder holds 10 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Kentucky with a narrow lead over Notre Dame and Penn State to land a commitment from Nichols.

Syracuse currently has two commitments in its 2024 class in On3 three-star wide receiver Syair Torrence and unranked running back Sam Cooper. The Orange currently have the No. 59 class in the nation and the No. 9 class amongst ACC schools.
The Orange finished the 2023 recruiting cycle with 16 commitments, the No. 76 class in the country and the No. 14 class in the ACC.
Nichols currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $26K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
