OT Vincent Carroll-Jackson commits to Syracuse
Harrisburg (Penn.) Central Dauphin East offensive tackle Vincent Carroll-Jackson announced his commitment to Syracuse on Sunday. Carroll-Jackson chose the Orange over multiple programs, including Florida, Georgia and Nebraska.
Carroll-Jackson is not ranked in the 2023 On3 Consensus or the 2023 On300. He is 6-foot-5 and weighs 280 pounds.
“Home is where the heart is,” Carroll-Jackson wrote on social media. “Happy to announce I am 100% committed to Syracuse University. I got a story to tell and I’m the author.. I’m ready to write this next chapter!”
Carroll-Jackson is the 10th commit in Syracuse’s 2023 recruiting class. The Orange’s group ranks No. 88 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 14 in the ACC.
Carroll-Jackson, who committed following his official visit this weekend, is one of three offensive tackles pledged to Syracuse. The others are Springfield (Mass.) Springfield Central three-star Jayden Bass and Lysander Moeolo, a transfer from Coriscana (Texas) Navarro College.

Syracuse’ class is led by Florence (S.C.) South Florence four-star quarterback LaNorris Sellers. He is the No. 601 overall prospect and No. 34 quarterback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, as well as a three-star recruit and the No. 6 player in South Carolina.
On3 rates Sellers higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, he is a four-star recruit, the No. 156 overall prospect, No. 12 quarterback and No. 3 player in South Carolina.
One other Orange commit is ranked in the top 1,000 of the On3 Consensus. Stafford (Va.) Mountain View three-star running back Ike Daniels, the No. 876 overall prospect, chose Syracuse on July 22.
