2024 RB Yasin Willis flips commitment to Syracuse from Pittsburgh
Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph Regional three-star running back Yasin Willis announced on social media that he has flipped his commitment from Pittsburgh to Syracuse.
Willis originally committed to Pitt on July 29.
He is the nation’s No. 587 overall prospect and No. 47 running back in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Willis does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Brown has been with Georgia for the past two seasons, from 2022 to now. Prior to joining the Bulldogs coaching staff under head coach Kirby Smart, he spent two years with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as their defensive back coach.
“He’s an incredible person and human being, beautiful family,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said. “Nobody’s more upset than my 11-year-old son who one of his best friends was Brayden, Fran’s son. When they first came down they got to be buddies and now they’ve spent really a year or two years together.”
