2025 EDGE Jared Martin commits to TCU Horned Frogs
El Centro (Calif.) Central three-star EDGE Jared Martin has committed to the TCU Horned Frogs, he announced Wednesday on social media.
Martin is the nation’s No. 447 overall prospect, No. 40 EDGE and No. 37 recruit from California in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Martin took his official visit to Fort Worth midweek this week following official visits to Arizona State and California.
Fifteen recruits are currently committed to TCU’s 2025 class. The Horned Frogs landed Benton (La.) three-star offensive tackle Witten Van Hoy on Tuesday. On Sunday, Boerne (Texas) four-star interior offensive lineman Logan Schram pledged to the Frogs.
“They’re all amazing schools, but the biggest reasons I chose TCU were the people and coaches, Neely Business School, networking potential, and being close to home,” Scram told On3. “I really like that I can get in the truck and be back to Boerne in four hours or vice versa for my family, as well as getting to stay in Texas.”

Schram has been to Fort Worth “quite a few times now,” whether for practices, games, or visits. And the environment is always the same.
“That’s what I really love,” he added. “You never have to guess what you’re getting because the people and coaches are genuine.
… I’m probably closest with Coach Tohmehdal and Coach Ricker. They’ve been recruiting me the longest and we’ve definitely spoken the most. I really like how real Coach Tohmehdal and Coach Ricker are, they mean what they say and their actions show it. Same with Coach Dykes and honestly the rest of the coaching staff, they’re all great.”
