3-star defensive lineman Zachary Chapman commits to TCU
Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall defensive lineman Zachary Chapman has committed to TCU after his official visit this past weekend, he announced on Tuesday.
Chapman is the No. 606 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 77 defensive lineman and the No. 109 junior in the state of Texas.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder chose the Horned Frogs over offers from Baylor, Boston College, Colorado, Mississippi State, Texas Tech and a handful of other programs. He visited TCU earlier this spring, as well as making a trip to Baylor. His trip to Fort Worth this past weekend was his first and only scheduled official visit.
