4-star IOL Logan Schram commits to TCU: 'It just felt like home'
Boerne (Texas) four-star offensive lineman Logan Schram came down to TCU, Texas Tech and Arkansas.
And while he could see himself at each program, the Horned Frogs came out on top.
“They’re all amazing schools, but the biggest reasons I chose TCU were the people and coaches, Neely Business School, networking potential, and being close to home,” he told On3. “I really like that I can get in the truck and be back to Boerne in four hours or vice versa for my family, as well as getting to stay in Texas.”
Schram has been to Fort Worth “quite a few times now,” whether for practices, games, or visits. And the environment is always the same.
“That’s what I really love,” he added. “You never have to guess what you’re getting because the people and coaches are genuine.
… I’m probably closest with Coach Tohmehdal and Coach Ricker. They’ve been recruiting me the longest and we’ve definitely spoken the most. I really like how real Coach Tohmehdal and Coach Ricker are, they mean what they say and their actions show it. Same with Coach Dykes and honestly the rest of the coaching staff, they’re all great.”

Decision ultimately came easy to Schram
While he loved the other schools and said it was hard to say no to coaches who had spent so much time recruiting him, Schram says he knew TCU was the right choice.
“On one hand, I loved all three of the coaching staffs and schools, and they all put in a lot of time and energy into recruiting me. Which made it hard to decide, but on the other hand, the really important things to me and my family that TCU offers were a no-brainer.
… Overall TCU just felt like home, and after lots of consideration and prayer with my family, I’m all in and extremely excited to be a Horned Frog.”
