4-star QB Marcos Davila decommits from TCU
Midland (Texas) Lee four-star quarterback Marcos Davila has decommitted from TCU, he announced on Wednesday.
He chose the Horned Frogs over offers from Arizona, Texas Tech, Baylor and a handful of other programs back in December. Since then though, offensive coordinator Garrett Riley left the school for the same job at Clemson, and a host of new schools have entered his recruitment.
Davila is the No. 288 overall prospect and No. 19 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 50 player in Texas.

Davila has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.7K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
