4-star QB Marcos Davila decommits from TCU
Midland (Texas) Lee four-star quarterback Marcos Davila has decommitted from TCU, he announced on Wednesday.
He chose the Horned Frogs over offers from Arizona, Texas Tech, Baylor and a handful of other programs back in December. Since then though, offensive coordinator Garrett Riley left the school for the same job at Clemson, and a host of new schools have entered his recruitment.
Davila is the No. 288 overall prospect and No. 19 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 50 player in Texas.

On3 rates Davila higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 239 overall prospect, No. 17 quarterback and No. 47 player in Texas.
Davila has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.7K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
