New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton three-star safety Ronald Lewis has committed to TCU, one day after officially decommitting from Texas.

Lewis had been the lone member of the Longhorns’ recruiting class not to sign his National Letter of Intent during the early signing period.

Lewis is the No. 931 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The defensive back originally committed to the Longhorns on Aug. 5, 2021, one day after he backed off his verbal to Colorado.

Lewis joins a Horned Frogs recruiting class headlined by Garland (Texas) teammates Jordan Hudson and Chace Biddle. Biddle, a fellow safety, is the top defensive commit in the class at No. 177 in the On3 Consensus.
