Hailey Van Lith named Big 12 women's basketball Player of the Year

On Tuesday, TCU guard Hailey Van Lith was named the Big 12 Player of the Year. Van Lith is averaging 17.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game this season while shooting 45.4% from the field and 33.1% from beyond the arc.
Van Lith transferred to TCU ahead of this season after spending last year at LSU. Van Lith began her collegiate career at Louisville, where she spent three seasons before transferring to LSU.
With Van Lith’s help, the Horned Frogs are 28-3 this season and 16-2 in conference play. As the No. 1 seed in the Big 12 Tournament, TCU will have a double bye and play its first game on Friday.
Van Lith isn’t only finding success on the court but in the business world, as well. The fifth-year senior boasts a $772K On3 NIL valuation, the seventh-highest of all collegiate women athletes.
With a massive social media following, Van Lith is one of the most marketable women’s basketball players today. In the past, she has done deals with Adidas, Dicks Sporting Goods, Valentino, Overtime and Billionaire Girls Club.
Hailey Van Lith was not only the Big 12 Player of the Year but also the conference’s Newcomer of the Year. Look below to see the complete list of the All-Big 12 WBB Yearly Award Winners.
