On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: TCU trending for ATH Mikal Harrison-Pilot

Temple (Texas) four-star athlete Mikal Harrison-Pilot has kept his recruitment largely wide open.
He released a top five schools list in May, but has yet to officially narrow anything down further at this point. Over the summer, Texas was considered to be the favorite to land him by the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). But the Longhorns’ in-state rival, TCU, has made a strong push to pull him up to Fort Worth.
And after a weekend unofficial visit, during which the Horned Frogs lambasted Oklahoma 55-24, TCU is now considered the On3 RPM leader. It gives Sonny Dykes and Co. a 64.9 percent chance of securing Harrison-Pilot’s commitment. Texas (27.8%) and Cal (1.5%) trail behind. The changes follow an expert pick from On3 national recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman, as well as updates around the recruiting industry.
The Horned Frogs have also become the heavy favorite to land Red (Oak) Texas four-star defensive back Warren Roberson, who ranks as the No. 76 overall prospect in the On300 rankings.

Harrison-Pilot, who plays both ways at the high school level, is primarily being recruited to play receiver in Fort Worth.
Mikal Harrison-Pilot Recruiting Profile
The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder is the No. 172 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 7 athlete and the No. 32 senior recruit in Texas.
Below is a scouting summary of him as a prospect:
“Do-it-all player that has played quarterback, running back, wide receiver and safety over his three seasons at Temple High School. Measured around 5-foot-11.5, 185 pounds with a 6-foot-4 wing-span prior to his senior season. A three-sport athlete who plays baseball and also ran 11.02 in the 100 meters and 21.63 in the 200 meters in 2021. Fluidity and smoothness in his movements pops off the tape. An easy mover with looseness in his hips.
… Has solid ball skills as a pass catcher and flashes the ability to high point the football. Shows his physicality when coming downhill in the run game and as a ball carrier. Needs to develop his footwork and hand placement in coverage. Has all the physical tools to play offense or defense at the next level but will need to refine his technical skills once he lands on either side of the ball.”
