On Monday, San Diego State offensive lineman Cade Bennett committed to TCU, via the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Bennett spent two seasons with the Aztecs, appearing in 21 total games. Bennett was a pivotal piece of San Diego State’s front five in the 2023 campaign, earning All-Mountain West Second Team honors.

Bennett was also named a second-team all-Mountain West selection by the league’s coaches and media in 2022. Additionally, he was a first-team pick by College Football Network and a second-team selection by Phil Steele Magazine. Before playing at San Diego State, Bennett spent two years at Oklahoma State, where he received limited snaps.

Bennett played high school football at Notre Dame Preparatory (AZ), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 710 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Bennett was listed as the No. 9 available interior offensive lineman available in the transfer portal, according to On3 Industry Ranking.
