TCU QB Max Duggan say's it'll be 'special' to be drafted by hometown Dallas Cowboys

Max Duggan may have been born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa, but the TCU quarterback will forever be associated with the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex thanks to his Horned Frogs heroics. The Heisman runner-up wouldn’t be opposed to staying in the area as her progresses to the pro ranks.
Duggan met with the Dallas Cowboys at the NFL Combine this week. He said he would welcome the chance to playing for America’s Team.
“It would be special to stay home and be part of the Cowboys franchise,” Duggan said during his press conference the NFL Combine.
During his memorable senior campaign this past year, Duggan threw for 3,698 yards and 32 touchdowns against eight interceptions.

The team has Dak Prescott under center and in the midst of a long-term contract. But backup quarterback is a potential position of need for the team. Duggan would be open to fulfilling such a role.
“It’d be really exciting to be able to go learn obviously in Dallas with Coach McCarthy and learn under Dak and learn how to be a pro and everything he’s done to be successful,” Duggan said.
