TCU safety Javeon Wilcox enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
TCU safety Javeon Wilcox has entered the transfer portal, On3 has learned.
Wilcox only spent one season with the Horned Frogs. He did not make an appearance for the team this year. Wilcox is TCU’s 11th player to enter the portal.
Javeon Wilcox played high school football at Lake Belton (TX), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 455 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
In his senior year of high school, Wilcox totaled 125 tackles, including two for loss. He also added three interceptions, two pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Wilcox was a multi-sport athlete. He also played high school basketball and ran track.
On3 has TCU ranked as the No. 9 team in the transfer portal. The Horned Frogs have already added 14 players through the portal, including three former four-star recruits. Meanwhile, the team has lost zero former four-star recruits.
