2024 3-star WR Amari Jefferson offered by Tennessee

2024 Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School three-star wide receiver Amari Jefferson received an offer from Tennessee on Wednesday. He announced the news over social media.

Jefferson is the No. 384 overall prospect and No. 57 wide receiver in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in Tennessee.

Jefferson is familiar with the Volunteers since he’s currently committed to Tennessee’s baseball program. His only other football offers are from Kentucky and Virginia Tech.

Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting class contains two commitments from Franklin (Ga.) IMG Academy four-star EDGE Jonathan Echols and Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie School three-star defensive lineman Carson Gentle. Echols is rated as the No. 19 overall prospect and the No. 2 EDGE in the On3 Consensus. On3 rates him higher overall as the No. 8 prospect.

The Volunteers’ 2023 recruiting class currently ranks No. 11 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. The group contains 19 commitments and is led by Long Beach (Calif.) Warren five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava.

Jefferson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $12.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
