Class of 2024 four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley of Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy announced his commitment to Tennessee Friday night.

The 6-foot-1, 180 pounder chose the Vols over LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Clemson.

Beasley on why he chose Tennessee

“The relationships I built over the past couple of months with the players, coaches, parents, and fans stood out,” Beasley said. “Tyler Baron was a big part of it. He kept it 100 with me throughout the process, and would always hit me up just to check in. Also, with what coach Heupel has done to change the program around. Tennessee is on a roll right now, and I want to add to that. Plus I am an in-state kid.”

Relationship with coaching staff + Tennessee’s plan for Beasley

“Coach Martinez, the DB coach, is who I talk to the most,” Beasley said. “The conversations right now are about getting me back up there and talking about me, family, and anything I need. I feel like I got into the Tennessee defense because they play with a lot of DBs on the field. I can play any nickel, corner, or safety.”

What playing for the in-state school means to Kaleb Beasley

“It means a lot to me definitely,” Beasley said. “Getting to play and fight for a school that I have been growing up watching is crazy.”
