2025 4-star EDGE Jared Smith visiting Tennessee
Hoover (Ala.) Spain Park four-star EDGE Jared Smith will be taking a visit this weekend to see Tennessee.
On3 does not yet rank recruits during their sophomore seasons but does release a preseason Watch List of 100 recruits. Smith earned a spot on the list and was one of seven players to receive a grade of 91.
Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County four-star EDGE Zayden Walker was the only EDGE recruit to receive a higher grade than Smith as a 92.
Walker was one of two commits to earn a 92 grade, which was the highest grade awarded in the cycle so far.

Smith has already visited Rocky Top before and talked with On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons about the trip.
“I got to look around the campus, learn a little about the school, and how they are re-branding the Tennessee program,” Smith told On3. “They have a great recruiting class coming in, so that is something that has my attention too.”
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $89k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
