2025 Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy four-star quarterback George MacIntyre has been offered by Tennessee. He announced the news on social media.

A 6-foot-5, 180 pound signal-caller, MacIntyre is a four-star recruit, according to On3. He was included in the On3 2025 Football Prospect Watch List.

MacIntyre is the grandson of former Vanderbilt head coach George MacIntyre, who coached the Commodores from 1979-1985. His uncle is Mike MacIntyre, the head coach at FIU.

The four-star recruit currently has seven offers. Schools who have extended them include Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

The Volunteers’ 2025 recruiting class currently contains no commitments. Tennessee’s 2024 class includes two commitments in Franklin (Ga.) IMG Academy four-star EDGE Jonathan Echols and Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie School four-star defensive lineman Carson Gentle. Echols is the No. 8 overall prospect and No. 3 EDGE in the 2024 On300.

Meanwhile, Tennessee’s 2023 class currently ranks No. 13 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 5 in the SEC. The group is led by Long Beach (Calif.) Warren five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava, the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2023 On300. Iamaleava notched the second win of his senior season last night.

MacIntyre has an On3 NIL Valuation of $21K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
