4-star WR Radarious Jackson commits to Tennessee: 'The offense is one of the best I've seen'
Memphis (Tenn.) Sheffield four-star wide receiver Radarious Jackson looked at schools across the SEC — and the country. But his heart was always at home.
On Monday, he made that feeling official by committing to the in-state Tennessee Volunteers over Auburn, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State.
“I chose Tennessee because of the bond I was able to make with the coaches, the atmosphere at practice and how the coaches uplift their players,” he told On3. “The Tennessee offense is one of the best I’ve seen too, so that factored into my decision.”
Jackson has developed a special bond with Tennessee’s coaching staff during the recruiting process, including head coach Josh Heupel.
“Coach Heupel is a cool dude,” Jackson said. “I love his personality and I love the way he coaches. He gives great motivational speeches to his players.”
Receivers coach Kelsey Pope connected with Jackson in a different way than others, and the two have developed their own unique connections as well.
“I love how Coach Pope can relate to my background,” he added. “I love how he coaches and how Coach Pope lifts his players up and cares for them. He is always pushing his players to do their best and to keep going.”

Jackson eager to play with 5-star QB George MacIntyre
Jackson joins a Tennessee class that sits just inside the top-15 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, led by five-star quarterback commit George MacIntyre.
A Nashville native, MacIntyre has been pushing hard for Jackson to join the fold. And now the two will team up at the next level.
“I am excited to play with George — he is an amazing quarterback,” Jackson said. “I love his play style and how he is not just a pocket quarterback. And I can’t wait to get on the field with him at Tennessee.”
On3 rates Jackson as a four-star prospect and the country’s No. 80 overall recruit and No. 12 wideout in the On300 rankings.
