Class of 2023 EDGE Emmanuel Okoye commits to Tennessee
Four-star EDGE Emmanuel Okoye of London (England) NFL Academy announced his commitment to Tennessee Wednesday morning.
The 6-foot-5, 230 pounder chose the Vols over USC and Texas Tech.
Okoye spoke with On3 in a previous interview on what stood out about Tennessee.
“Tennessee has a great football environment and tradition, great coaches and system going on,” Okoye said. “They also have great academics. I met great people during my time out there which will be great in the long run.”
The England athlete joins coach Heupel and the Volunteers top 15 class in the 2023 team rankings. He joins five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleva, four-star defensive lineman Daevin Hobbs, and others.

Okoye ranks as the No. 496 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 44 EDGE and the No. 1 player in England
