Class of 2025 CB Tyler Redmond commits to Tennessee
Class of 2025 cornerback Tyler Redmond of Milton (GA) High announced his commitment to Tennessee Sunday night.
The 6-foot-2, 175 pounder chose the Vols over NC State and Ohio State.
“It’s close to home and the city its in. The atmosphere week in week out. And I know what I’m getting out of this coaching staff with coach Heupel. He’s going to make Tennessee a powerhouse and the defense of coaches with coach banks and coach Martinez doing a great job with the defense. Also it fits my play style and my versatility.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.
“My relationship with the coaching staff is amazing; they always check on me and my family every week. I’m probably closest with coach Martinez. He’s been in my ear since the end of my freshman year. They plan on moving me around everywhere because that’s what they expect when you’re a db in their system, that you can play any position in the back end.”
