Four-Star EDGE Kellen Lindstrom commits to Tennessee
Four-star EDGE Kellen Lindstrom of Springfield (MO) Glendale High announced his commitment to Tennessee Friday night.
The 6-foot-5, 235 pounder chose the Vols over LSU, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Alabama.
Lindstrom on why he chose Tennessee
“I love the coaching staff in coach Ekeler and coach Heupel,” Lindstrom said. “I know I can come to them for any issue I have. I also love the atmosphere of Knoxville and the university itself. From the moment I stepped on campus I felt at home and my gut feeling led me to ultimately deciding to go to Tennessee.”
Relationship with coaching staff + Tennessee’s plan for him
“I would say my best relationships are with coach Heupel and coach Ekeler,” Lindstrom said. “They love how I’m gritty and hard working and plan for me to play the Leo position.”
The Show Me State EDGE joins coach Heupel and the Vols’ top 12 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star quarterback Jake Merklinger, four-star tight end Jonathan Echols, and others.
