Four-Star OT Bennett Warren commits to Tennessee
Four-star offensive tackle Bennett Warren of Sugar Land (TX) Fort Bend Christian Academy announced his commitment to Tennessee Monday morning.
The 6-foot-8, 330 pounder chose the Volunto over Michigan, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma.
Warren on why he chose Tennessee
“The opportunity to be in the SEC definitely. I love the town of Knoxville in general and just really enjoyed being around that staff and their family environment. My family loved it and I could tell they were really happy there.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“I’d say I’m probably closest with coach KP. He’s really easy to be around and crack jokes with. Also, coach Elarbee. They see me as playing either tackle and sort of to replace what Darnell was but obviously it’s going to take hard work and time to get there.”
The Lone Star State offensive tackle joins coach Josh Heupel and the Vols’ top 10 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by five-star wide receiver Mike Matthews, four-star quarterback Jake Merklinger, and others.
