Jamar Price committs as a preferred walk-on at Tennessee
Charlotte (N.C.) Providence running back Jamar Price has accepted a preferred walk-on role at Tennessee.
“I’m proud to say that I will be committing to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville on a PWO to further my academic and athletic career,” Price tweeted Wednesday.
Price had been originally been committed to Air Force at the start of July. However, he decommitted from the school in January due to a medical condition.
“It would have been an honor to be a part of something that is bigger than me. Unfortunately, my eczema disqualifies me from (attending) the Air Force Academy,” he said in a statement at the time.
