The regular season has now come and gone. In the SEC, the final week of the regular season was a very exciting one. Following all of the Week 13 action, the SEC has announced its Players of the Week.

SEC Week 13 offensive honors

Offensive Player of the Week: Arkansas WR Treylon Burks.

Burks had seven receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown in Arkansas’ victory over Missouri. The game was Burks’ sixth 100-yard receiving game of the season, which set an Arkansas single-season record. He caught a 52-yard touchdown in the win, and the score was his 11th of the season, which ties him for second all-time in Arkansas history. Burks also had a 43-yard reception, giving him an SEC-leading 20 receptions of at least 20 yards, and also reached 1,000 yards on the year.

Offensive Lineman of the Week: Kentucky OT Darian Kinnard.

Kentucky ended the regular season on a high note with a big offensive performance over Louisville. The Wildcats scored 52 points and rushed for 362 yards and seven touchdowns. Kentucky scored on seven of the eight possessions that Kinnard was on the field. He had two knockdown blocks, 11 blocks at the point of attack, and allowed no sacks while not being penalized and missing zero assignments.

SEC defensive honors

Defensive Players of the Week: LSU LB Damone Clark, Alabama LB Will Anderson.

LSU ended the Ed Orgeron era with a 27-24 victory over Texas A&M to clinch bowl eligibility. Clark had 10 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks in the win. He leads the nation with 135 tackles this season. LSU held Texas A&M to 54 rushing yards and 296 total yards, both of which are season lows.

To no surprise, Anderson again finds himself receiving SEC honors after another dominating performance in the Iron Bowl in Week 13. Anderson had seven total tackles, two quarterback pressures, three tackles for loss, and one sack. Alabama held Auburn to 22 rushing yards, which is 155 yards below the Tigers’ season average.

He has now made 118 straight extra points, which is an LSU record. York is now also second in LSU history with 326 career points scored.

Freshman of the Week: Tennessee RB Jaylen Wright.

Tennessee’s running back room was depleted, but Wright stepped up in a big way in a 45-21 victory over Vanderbilt. Wright had 15 carries for 112 yards, both of which are career highs, along with one touchdown. He averaged 7.5 yards per carry and 46 of his yards came after contact.
