Tennessee 5-star QB commit Nico Iamaleava enjoying his weekend in Knoxville
Long Beach (Calif.) Downey five-star quarterback and Tennessee commit Nico Iamaleava is really enjoying his weekend visit to Rocky Top.
He talked with Karthik Venkataraman of the Knoxville, Tenn., NBC affiliate prior to Saturday’s game about what attracts him to the Volunteers.
“Everything about it, the whole atmosphere, the environment, the fans are crazy. I love that about the fans. Just playing for guys like coach Heupel, coach Golesh and coach Halzle. I cant wait,” Iamaleava said.
He also gave a prediction for the game versus Florida.
“I say we win by three touchdowns.”

Iamaleava is ranked higher by On3, which slots him in as the No. 2 player in the country behind only New Orleans Isidore Newman Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Arch Manning.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.1 million. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
