Four-Star PG Bishop Boswell commits to Tennessee
Charlotte (N.C.) Myers Park 2024 four-star point guard Bishop Boswell has committed to Tennessee.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound senior chose the ‘Vols over a final group of Georgia, Missouri, Wake Forest, and Xavier.
“I chose Tennessee because of the winning culture that the program has and coach Barnes has had over his career,” Boswell said to On. “As well as the relationship coach has with his players to love them while also getting the best out of them and developing them on the court. Also how passionate the fans and teachers are about their student-athletes.”
In his own words, what type of player is Tennessee getting in Boswell?
“The way I would describe my game is a physical, paint touch point guard who can pass at a high level, defend and knock down shots.”

Boswell Scouting Report
“It was a summer of separation for four-star PG Bishop Boswell. On a Team CP3 travel team that had multiple top-50 players, it was Boswell who led them in points, rebounds, assists, and steals during Nike’ EYBL Circuit regular season. Boswell, a former football player, has a strong frame with long arms. He can be a very good defender both on or off the ball. Offensively, Boswell is an aggressive player, touching the paint in straight lines and absorbing contact in the paint. He also developed the jump shot, shooting 36.5 percent on 3.7 attempts during the EYBL’s regular season. He was a central figure in Charlotte (NC) Myers Park run to the North Carolina state championship, as one of the team’s leading scorers throughout the playoffs as well as handling the ball and guarding the opposing team’s top perimeter threat.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
