WATCH: Tennessee drops hype video for Saturday's sold out homecoming game

The Tennessee Volunteers are fresh off of their biggest win of the season and quite possibly in recent history. The Volunteers knocked off the defending SEC champs, the Alabama Crimson Tide, on Saturday 52-49. But that was last week, and Tennessee’s work it’s far from over. Although their next opponent might not be on the same level of quality as Alabama, don’t expect the Volunteers to go easy on them.
Up next for Tennessee is an in-state matchup with rival sister school UT-Martin. And ahead of the game, to show love and appreciation towards their fellow University of Tennessee branch, the Volunteers released the hype video below.

It took all four quarters and every second off the clock for the volunteers to end their 15-game losing streak to the Crimson Tide last Saturday, but they got the job done. Heisman-hopeful quarterback Hendon Hooker led the offense with another stellar performance torching the Crimson Tide defense all night long.

Hooker finished the game with 385 passing yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. He completed 21 of his 30 pass attempts and also added 56 yards on the ground. His favorite target on the night was wide receiver Jalin Hyatt. Hyatt set a new school record for receiving touchdowns in a single game with five. He finished the game with six receptions for 207 yards and five touchdowns.
Nationally, this matchup might not draw the attention of last week’s game. But in the state of Tennessee, it will be huge. The Volunteers are hosting Saturday’s game and it’s also their homecoming game. The school announced that the game has officially been sold out. So Tennessee fans in the area looking to catch the game might have to watch it from the comfort of their home or enjoy the tailgate outside the stadium. Outside of that, you’ll be hard-pressed to find tickets to get you into Saturday’s game.
