Tennessee flips 4-star LB Jaedon Harmon from Alabama
Rome (Ga.) linebacker Jaedon Harmon committed to Alabama earlier this summer, but Tennessee has come in and flipped the four-star from the Crimson Tide. On Saturday, the Vols beat Georgia, Nebraska and Ohio State for Five-Star Plus+ offensive tackle David Sanders, Jr. and now they have kept the momentum going with Harmon.
Harmon has long been a target for Tennessee. Before committing to the Crimson Tide, he visited Knoxville multiple times.
He always talked about “the people” at Rocky Top.
“Even when I had no offers, I went down there, and they had treated me the same as they treat me now. It was equal, and that is a big part to me,” Harmon told On3 in an interview earlier this year.
His relationship started with Brian Jean-Mary. He moved on to coach at Michigan and Josh Heupel brought in William Inge. The two bonded and Harmon likes the fit in Knoxville.

Harmon gives Tennessee 23 commitments this cycle and cornerback target Onis Konabanny is committing on Aug. 23. He is down to Florida State and Tennessee.
