5-star OT Jordan Seaton taking official visit to Tennessee this weekend
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton has locked in his plans for the next chapter of his season-long string of visits.
The top uncommitted prospect in the 2024 cycle confirmed on Tuesday that he’s heading back to Rocky Top for an official visit with Tennessee as the Volunteers host No. 2 Georgia inside Neyland Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The top-ranked offensive tackle rounded out his September with a trip to Knoxville, which made a sizable impression as UT defeated South Carolina. Now the Vols have another chance to move up the leaderboard in the Seaton sweepstakes in what will be a raucous environment with the undefeated Bulldogs in town.
“I thought the game was electric and energizing,” Seaton told Volquest after the September visit. “It put a good first step for the Vols to see them come out with this dominating win over the Gamecocks. This was definitely an eye-opener. Up front, they were impressive.”
Alabama, Colorado, Florida and Oregon have also had the 6-foot-5, 295-pounder on campus this fall, while the likes of Ohio State and Oklahoma also figure to be in the mix up until his decision is announced.

“There are a lot of factors in Seaton’s decision. Both on and off the field opportunities matter. He and his camp are in talks with around half a dozen schools multiple times a week. Tennessee has a chance next weekend to make a big statement,” wrote On3’s Chad Simmons on Nov. 10.
Jordan Seaton Recruiting Profile
Seaton is the No. 15 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the nation’s No. 1 offensive tackle recruit and the No. 4 player in the Sunshine State.
He was one of the country’s biggest rankings risers over the past few months, ascending to No. 7 in the most recent On300 rankings. On3’s Scouting and Rankings Director Charles Power wrote this about what has made him such a dominant force this fall:
“Offensive tackle Jordan Seaton (No. 7) was an easy call to earn his fifth-star after turning in a very strong start. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder transferred from Washington (D.C.) St. John’s to IMG Academy for his senior season and has shown to be the most technically advanced offensive tackle in the cycle to this point. Seaton’s high level of skill is readily apparent both on film and in person. He plays with advanced awareness and coordination. The inherent feel for leverage combines with strong hands that stymie pass rushers on contact. He plays with control and balance. We also like Seaton’s physicality and nasty on-field demeanor. We view the new five-star as a high-floor prospect with the ability to get on the field early in his college career.”
