Tennessee jumps up in On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with commitment from star WR
After adding Atlanta Westlake top-100 wide receiver Travis Smith on Saturday, Tennessee has moved up three spots to No. 13 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
The Volunteers jumped Texas, Auburn and Missouri with Smith’s commitment.
Smith is the nation’s No. 81 overall prospect, No. 12 wide receiver and No. 11 recruit from Georgia in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He ranks No. 59 overall in the 2025 On300.
“It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made,” Smith told On3. “At the end of the day, I felt Tennessee fit what I was looking for the best. From offensive productivity to the opportunity to shine in the offense to the scheme and just being in the best position to succeed.
“Georgia and Alabama were great, and it was a tight race. Both schools are great programs with coaches I like a lot, but I decided Tennessee was best for me.”

Memphis Sheffield four-star wide receiver Radarious Jackson is one of the latest additions to the class and an On3 top-100 overall prospect.
On March 28, Nashville Ensworth four-star defensive lineman Ethan Utley joined the fold, choosing the Vols over Michigan, Texas and others. Elkhart (Ind.) Central four-star EDGE commit Mariyon Dye is one of the highest-rated prospects in the class and an On3 top-40 recruit.
