The Tigers are one program pushing hard for his commitment.
“I talk to Coach Josh Aldridge, the linebacker coach, I talk to him every day,” Barber told On3’s Cole Pinkston on Feb. 10. “He just sent me the spring schedule as a matter of fact, so I’ve already started planning on making a trip back down there for a spring practice and the spring game.”
“It definitely feels like that,” he added about feeling like a priority to Auburn. “You know, because Coach Aldridge, from time to time, he will sometimes tell me to give him a call. Not necessarily to talk to me about this and that about football, but he will call me just to check on me, see what I’m up to, how the family is doing. So, that’s why I have a huge liking toward them too because its not like they just want me to come down there because I could benefit them for football. It’s like they want me to come down there because they want to help me develop and keep growing as a better man and better person.”
Barber shared with Pinkston that in addition to Auburn, he talks most with Arkansas and UCF.
