Tennessee offers 4-star CB Selman Bridges
Temple (Texas) Lake Belton four-star cornerback Selman Bridges received an offer from Tennessee on Monday. He announced the news over social media.
Bridges is the No. 130 overall prospect and No. 11 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 22 player in Texas.
On3 rates Bridges higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 85 overall prospect, No. 9 cornerback and No. 16 player in Texas.
The 6-foot-4, 170-pound defensive back holds 20 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Baylor has a close lead for his commitment at 27.8%.
Bridges was recently offered by Alabama. He already has a lot of interest in the Crimson Tide.

“They were like, ‘We really like you. We like how you play,'” Bridges told Joseph Hastings of BamaInsider on Feb. 1. “They want me to get down there and tour the campus, work out with the DB coach and see how I like it.”
“My mom is from there,” he added. “That’s one I really wanted for my mom. I’m really interested in the program because I love winning. It’s a program that has showed everybody that they win. The coaches, the culture… they win. I would love to win and get developed as a person and player.”
Miami is another new offer from Bridges. He received it from head coach Mario Cristobal and visited the Hurricanes last month.
“It was just a great feeling, and I was just like, ‘Dang, they’re coming for me,”” Bridges told Izubee Charles of CaneSport on Jan. 28.
