Tennessee announces non-conference men's basketball schedule
The Tennessee Volunteers basketball team announced their 2021-22 season’s out of conference games via Twitter.
In total, Tennessee is going to be playing 13 out-of-conference games. Only one of those games is a true road game when they travel to Arizona in December. However, they have several neutral site games, including an international trip. The Volunteers play in the Battle 4 Atlantis over Thanksgiving, which is played in the Bahamas.
Notably, they open against Tennessee Tech on November 7th. Their last out-of-conference game, meanwhile, is against Texas. It comes more than a month after their second to last out of conference game as part of the Big 12-SEC Challenge. That second to last game comes against Austin Peay, one of only two in-state opponents.
