Tennessee baseball has become the talk of the college baseball world this season while running through the competition in style. From the dugout attire to the field, the latest jersey combination only cements the Volunteers’ place as one of the best-looking teams in the sport.

Ahead of the midweek meeting with Bellarmine, Tennessee debuted a ‘dark mode’ black cap with a black top and white pants with an orange undershirt. They unveiled the combination on social media with the caption, “what do we have here.”

The ‘dark mode’ cap features the UT logo rather than the typical Power-T which features on Tennessee’s football helmets and normal orange caps worn throughout the season. The jersey with it reads, “Vols” as well.

They went on to win the game 11-5 behind three home runs. The Volunteers also used seven different pitchers.

Tennessee baseball trolls opponents

Lane Kiffin got the viral social media moment he was looking for but it was the Tennessee baseball team that got the last laugh earlier this season. The No. 5-ranked Volunteers swept the No. 1 Ole Miss Rebels in a three-game series on the road in Oxford at Swayze Field.

Kiffin threw out the first pitch on Friday night and used it as an opportunity to call back to the golf balls and mustard incident during the football season. He tossed out a golf ball instead of a baseball. Earlier in the series, Vols players also used mustard as a prop after hitting a home run against Ole Miss.

After the sweep ended, the team’s social media posted a picture which included a Tennessee player swinging a golf club instead of a baseball bat.

Following Tennessee‘s series sweep over Florida in baseball, the Volunteers took a unique chance to troll the Gators’ football team too. After winning the series in a sweep, Tennessee was taken to the Florida campus to shower and prepare for their departure — and used their time inside the Gators’ locker rooms to pose for a photo wearing Florida football helmets.

At least one member of the Gators’ football team took exception to the photo, telling them that they will get revenge for the disrespect.
