Tennessee's Josh Heupel visits 4-star RB Justin Williams
Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and running backs coach Jerry Mack went on a visit Wednesday to the home of Dallas (Ga.) East Paulding running back Justin Williams.
Williams is the No. 282 overall recruit in the nation, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the 22nd-best running back in the nation and the No. 26 player from the Peach State.
On3 rates him even higher as the nation’s No. 190 overall prospect and No. 12 running back.
He decommitted from West Virginia on Nov. 17. He was a Mountaineers commit
Justin Williams is planning on going on an official visit to Knoxville, Tenn., next week. He went on unofficial visits on Nov. 13 and Nov. 20.
He plans on early enrolling at his school of choice.
Tennessee has one running back commit in its recruiting class in Geismar (La.) Dutchtown three-star Dylan Sampson.

Williams spent this past weekend at the Iron Bowl, where Auburn extended him a scholarship offer. The visit was the third time Williams went on a visit to the Plains this season for a football game.
The Tigers have one running back commit in Atlanta Woodward Academy four-star Damari Alston. They are hoping to round out their recruiting class with another tailback.
“I would not say Auburn is on top of Tennessee, but they are in a good spot,” Justin Williams told On3’s Chad Simmons. “I plan to take an official visit, but I am not sure of the date.”
