Tennessee big man Uros Plavsic will be honored Tuesday during Senior Day against Arkansas. When asked about what are some of his favorite memories of his time with the Volunteers, Plavsic talked about the relationships he has built with others.

“I was hoping not to hear any questions like this,” Plavsic said Monday. “I’ve been thinking about it a lot and basketball memories and all that stuff. My biggest memories will be just people that I met here. People that I’ve worked with throughout my four years here and just the relationships that I’ve made. Our friendships that I will never forget. I’m just gonna be so excited, come in here one day and just be a fan. Watch the game and just just think about my time here. I feel like this is just something that changed my life. Honestly, the whole experience here and everything that happened here changed my life in so many positive ways that I can’t even describe.”

Plavsic is averaging 5.3 points and 3.7 rebounds on 65.6% shooting from the field.

Head coach Rick Barnes said he doesn’t think the pregame ceremony will be much focus for the players as the game will be a critical part of the team’s resume heading into March Madness.

“I think what those guys want to do right now is win,” Barnes said Monday. “They understand this time of year because they’ve been through it more than anybody, these next couple weeks, how important they are and how it’s such a fine line between winning and losing, but I don’t think their thoughts are anywhere besides trying to make this basketball team the best it can be with what we have left.”
