WATCH: Tennessee drops hype video for primetime matchup against South Carolina
The Tennessee Volunteers have another huge SEC East matchup on Saturday when they travel to South Carolina to take on Shane Beamer and his Gamecock squad. The game will be a primetime evening matchup between two of the top teams in the East this season. More importantly for the Volunteers, it’ll be an opportunity to show the College Football Playoff committee just how dominant of a team they are.
To encourage their Tennessee fan base to get hyped for this game, the Volunteers released this hype video, showcasing some of their best plays from last weekend’s victory over Missouri.
South Carolina enters this game with a 6-4 record and is 3-4 in conference play. They are also fresh off of an embarrassing 38-6 loss down in the swamp courtesy of the Florida Gators. So expect for the Gamecocks to be raring to go on Saturday. But the state of South Carolina’s program should mean little to nothing to Tennessee as they continue their quest for a national championship. The Volunteers need not worry about who their opponent is or what their record is. The only thing Tennessee is focused on right now is destroying whoever is brave enough to line up against them and their high-powered offense, led by quarterback Hendon Hooker.
Fans in the stadium and tuning in across a nation at 6:00 PM CDT should expect another hard-fought SEC East battle between these two programs.
