2024 Four-Star WR Debron Gatling commits to Texas A&M
Four-star wide receiver Debron Gatling of Alpharetta (GA) Milton High announced his commitment to Texas A&M Sunday night.
The 6-foot-1, 180 pounder chose the Aggies over LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Miami.
Gatling on why he chose Texas A&M
“Really how many freshmen they play and just really how they kept that relationship with me since they first offered me my freshman year,” Gatling said. “I know about the whole coaching staff, they are always texting checking up on me all the time. Every time I went up there they showed mad love and made me feel wanted. Coach Cooley is one of the best wide receiver coaches in college football, and he plays his guys early. That’s what I love about it, and coach Jimbo sends guys to the NFL every year so that helped a lot.”
How A&M plans on using Debron Gatling
“They told me they wanted to use me like Moose (Muhammad) in the slot and outside,” Gatling said. “They really like ball skills, my route running, and play-making ability.”
