2025 WR Tristan Norman commits to Texas A&M
Montgomery (Ala.) Carver three-star wide receiver Tristan Norman has committed to Texas A&M, he announced on Monday.
He chose the Aggies over the likes of Kentucky, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and Arkansas.
Norman is the No. 490 overall prospect and No. 77 wideout in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 25 player in Alabama.
The 5-foot-11, 155-pound pass-catcher is the latest to hop on board with Mike Elko, Holmon Wiggins and Co. after logging his official visit to College Station.
“My official went great. I was glad to finally get on the board with Coach Wiggins and talk football. It really helped towards my decision in this process,” Norman told On3’s Steve Wiltfong.
Norman’s relationships with the A&M coaching staff propelled him toward his decision. He becomes commitment No. 15 for the Aggies this cycle.
“The coaches. I love how honest and genuine the coaches are about important things. I had a lot of questions answered concerning school and ball over the weekend,” Norman said.
Last season as a junior for Carver High, Norman hauled in 44 receptions for 736 yards and 10 touchdowns in 10 games. He averaged over 16 yards per catch.

Aggies bolster top-10 recruiting class
Norman is the first wide receiver pledge for the Aggies this cycle. He’s the second addition to A&M’s class this month, following Jasper (Texas) four-star tight end Kiotti Armstrong, the No. 4 TE in the nation. A&M’s class ranks No. 9 in the nation, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Corona (Calif.) Centennial four-star quarterback Husan Longstreet continues to headline the class as the No. 34 overall prospect and No. 6 QB in the nation. He’s one of two top-100 Golden State prospects in the mix in College Station, alongside Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill four-star cornerback Adonyss Currie, who committed in May.
Currie is one of four corners committed to Elko and Co., alongside Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star Cobey Sellers, Katy (Texas) Paetow four-star Deyjhon Pettaway and Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge four-star Jamar Beal-Goines. All four corners check in inside the top 220 in the On3 Industry Ranking.
DeSoto (Texas) four-star running back Deondrae Riden is a top-20 burner and provided a recruiting boost with his pledge in February. Forney (Texas) four-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins, Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair four-star defensive lineman Landon Rink and Cypress (Texas) Bridgeland four-star offensive tackle Jonte Newman are all top-400 recruits.
