Seattle O’Dea four-star interior offensive lineman Isendre “Papa” Ahfua has committed to Texas A&M.

He chose the Aggies over finalists Miami and Utah.

Ahfua is the No. 117 overall prospect and the No. 5 IOL in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player from Washington.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder took an official visit to College Station on June 9, then followed that up with a quick return for an unofficial visit on July 29. He now joins an A&M class that’s loaded with talent on the offensive line.

Jimbo Fisher’s pledge list now consists of four O-linemen, headlined by Ahfua and Beaumont (Texas) four-star offensive tackle Weston Davis, the No. 101 overall prospect in the cycle. They’re joined by Katy (Texas) Tompkins four-star IOL Ashton Funk and Katy (Texas) four-star IOL Coen Echols.

Ahufa has an On3 NIL Valuation of $94K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
