4-star RB Deondrae Riden commits to Texas A&M
DeSoto (Texas) four-star running back Deondrae Riden has committed to Texas A&M, he announced on social media.
Riden is the nation’s No. 181 overall prospect and No. 12 running back in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 29 recruit in Texas.
“I think it’s gonna be a big change,” Riden said last month of new Aggies head coach Mike Elko. “Coach Elko is a good dude. He’s a real dude, there’s something about the way he carries himself, the way he talks.”
More on Texas A&M recruiting

“I can tell they’re really gonna change the program a lot with Coach Elko being there,” Terry told On3. “It’s a good place to be with those coaches there. Coach Elko is a real genuine person, and that’s something I look for in a program. Talking to us, me and my family, and hearing about some of the things they’re doing, I can really see them building something over there.”
New Aggies WR coach Holmon Wiggins has made an equally big mark on Terry.
“Coach Wiggins just got there from Alabama and he’s a really good coach,” he said. “He sends a lot of people to the NFL and that’s what I wanna do. He’s a good coach and he’s staying in contact with me.”
