4-star WR Taz Williams is set to return to Texas
Red Oak (Texas) four-star wide receiver Taz Williams only has one spring visit left on his calendar and it is to Texas A&M. He has visited College Station three times already and he was last there on March 26. The No. 284 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking will be back on April 20 for the spring game.
“They have been recruiting me harder and harder and making me feel like a priority,” Williams told On3.
Williams has been in touch with numerous staffers at Texas A&M, including head coach Mike Elko, but his lead recruiter is wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins.
“I think Coach Wiggins is a great coach and I like how he has multiple national championships under his belt and multiple successful wide receivers in the league right now.”

Michigan had Williams on campus last weekend. He spent time in Ann Arbor and that staff is recruiting him hard as well. There has been some buzz around the Wolverines, but the in-state program is major player in this race too.
“Texas A&M is one of the schools toward the top of my list. I like the new staff, ready to see them get active next year and the school traditions. I am ready to get back and see how the offense operates and what the environment is for the spring game.”
Williams has official visits to SMU (May 10), USC (May 17), Texas A&M (June 6), Penn State (June 14) and Michigan (June 21) scheduled. He is looking to make a decision later this summer.
