Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star quarterback Air Noland is taking an unofficial visit to Texas A&M. The Aggies are one of his top seven schools.

Noland is the No. 111 overall prospect and No. 10 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 20 player in Georgia.

On3 rates Noland higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 45 overall prospect, No. 4 quarterback and No. 8 player in Georgia.

“Coach Jimbo Fisher, coach Dameyune Craig and Bobby Petrino do a great job of developing players,” Noland told On3’s Jeremy Johnson on March 25. “I think them being in the SEC plays a big role. I think coach Petrino has done great things at the NFL level and at the college level. He’s very quarterback-orientated when it comes to his offensive system. Coach Fisher is a great coach that has done great things with quarterbacks in the past.”

Noland, who is committing on April 8, will choose between Alabama, Miami, Clemson, Ohio State, Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Oregon. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Hurricanes have a close lead for his commitment at 19.8%.

“I think right now is the perfect time to do it,” Noland said. “Mentally and emotionally, I’m feeling good about it. I think all these schools have done a great job recruiting me and being geniune when I came to their place and they welcomed me with open arms. That’s why I wanted to narrow things down and get myself ready and prepared for spring ball. These are the schools I wanted to narrow down to and I feel very comfortable doing that.”

In addition to the Aggies, the 6-foot-2.5, 185-pound signal-caller is seeing two of his other finalists in the coming weeks. He will be at Ohio State on March 31 and Alabama on April 3.

At the moment, Texas A&M’s 2024 recruiting class ranks No. 14 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, as well as No. 8 in the SEC. It contains one quarterback in Hattiesburg (Miss.) On3 four-star Anthony Maddox.

The Aggies’ group also contains Longview (Texas) Pine Tree four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, Katy (Texas) Tompkins four-star interior offensive lineman Ashton Funk and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three-star wide receiver Debron Gatling.
