One of Miami’s biggest pitches to Jacob is the potential for him to team up once again with a former high school teammate.
“They’re telling me, me and (freshman Miami defensive back) Markeith (Williams) back together, that’d be perfect,” Jacob told On3. “It’s something I’ve been looking forward to.”
Florida offered Jacob two days after his visit and he acknowledged that getting that offer from Bill Napier and co. was special.
“It was just a different feeling getting an offer from UF after seeing everything they’ve been trying to rebuild,” Jacob told Gators Online. “My relationship with the staff is pretty cool because we have been talking before I even got the offer. I feel like with their fits and schemes, I can be an all-around DB on the field here.”
