4-star DL DJ Sanders commits to Texas A&M

He chose the Aggies over the likes of Texas, Houston, LSU and Notre Dame.
Sanders is the No. 79 overall prospect and No. 8 DL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 14 player in Texas.
On3 rates Sanders higher than the other major recruiting services. He ranks No. 71 overall and No. 6 among defensive linemen in the 2025 On300.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder has been pursued heavily by Mike Elko and the new staff in College Station. While the Longhorns battled, it’s the Aggies that have landed the in-state pledge, helping A&M continue to build the foundation for its 2025 class.
Sanders is the latest in-state recruit to commit to A&M. He flanks the likes of Katy Paetow four-star cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway, DeSoto four-star running back Deondrae Riden and Forney four-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins.
