Four-Star IOL Chase Bisontis commits to Texas A&M
Four-star interior offensive lineman Chase Bisontis of Ramsey (NJ) Don Bosco Prep announced his commitment to Texas A&M Sunday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 305 pounder chose the Aggies over Georgia, Rutgers, LSU, and Michigan State.
Chase Bisontis on why he chose Texas A&M
“A lot of people talk about when you feel that moment, well on my official visit Texas A&M just felt like home,” Bisontis said. “My relationships with the coaches and players are very strong. Texas A&M is in the SEC and I feel that’s the best conference. So I will be playing against the best teams/ competition every week. Also Texas A&M had the best recruiting class for the 22’s, so I will also be going up against the best in practice.”
Strong relationships with coaching staff
“My strongest relationship is with coach Addazio and coach Fisher,” Bisontis said. “Not only do we talk about football, but we also talk about life in general, which makes me feel comfortable.”
The New Jersey offensive lineman joins the Aggies’ No. 53 recruiting class in the 2023 team rankings. Coach Fisher and A&M now hold a total of 6 commits in the class.

Chase Bisontis Scouting Summary

Plays with outstanding leverage and loose hips to dominate in the run game. Shows foot speed and balance in pass protection and as a puller. Very strong in the weight room. Showed off a 615-pound deadlift, 415-pound bench press and 315-pound hang clean in 2022. Plays left tackle for one of the top high school programs in New Jersey. Has the athleticism to play tackle at next level if arm length checks out. On the older end of the spectrum for offensive linemen in the 2023 class.”
Bisontis ranks as the No. 60 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. He also tabs in as the No. 4 interior offensive lineman and the top player in the state of New Jersey.
