4-star offensive lineman Kam Dewberry commits to Texas A&M
Four-star Humble (Texas) Atascocita offensive lineman Kam Dewberry has committed to Texas A&M, he announced during Wednesday’s National Signing Day.
Dewberry is the No. 64 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is ranked as the nation’s No. 6 interior offensive lineman and the No. 12 player in the state of Texas.
The 6-foot-4, 325-pounder chose the Aggies over Texas, Oklahoma and others. Dewberry took official visits this summer to Texas A&M, LSU and Ohio State, in addition to fall visits to Oklahoma and Texas.
Kam Dewberry is the Texas A&M’s 24th commit in the 2022 cycle, joining a class that currently ranks No. 1 in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.

Kam Dewbery Scouting Summary
On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power sees Kam Dewberry as a very moldable offensive line prospect that could play at multiple positions. Power writes:
“One of the best offensive line frames in the 2022 cycle. Projects to guard at the next level, but has arm length befitting of an offensive tackle with a near 7-foot wingspan. Broad-shouldered and barrel-chested with big hands. At his best as a drive blocker in the run game. Plays with consistent toughness and physicality. Strong as a down blocker and drives his feet. Displays the ability to locate and connect with authority when pulling. Flat-footed in a three-point stance with good ankle flexion. Constantly looks to hit and punish defenders. An average athlete for the position. Has a tendency to bend at the waist, lunge and cross his feet in pass protection at offensive tackle.“
