4-star running back Le'Veon Moss commits to Texas A&M
Baton Rouge (La.) Istrouma running back Le’Veon Moss has committed to Texas A&M, he announced Tuesday morning on Twitter.
Moss is the No. 81 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Moss posted a graphic with the words “Committed” behind a photo of him in a Texas A&M uniform.
Moss, a one-time Alabama commit, visited College Station twice this summer, including for an official visit on June 18. He returned just over a month later for the A&M recruiting barbecue before decommitting from Alabama and reopening his recruitment.
He ultimately chose the Aggies over Alabama, which remained in the mix for his commitment, LSU and Ole Miss. The hometown Tigers were at one point considered a major contender to land him, but the ouster of head coach Ed Orgeron made that all but impossible.

Le’Veon Moss is Texas A&M’s latest big pledge
Le’Veon Moss’s commitment is the third in is many weeks for Texas A&M, which has been on a recruiting tear. Five-star defensive tackle Walter Nolen pledged to the Aggies on his visit Nov. 6, and four-star wideout Chris Marshall also made his commitment that weekend. Texas A&M now has eight commits ranked in the top 100 nationally, including three five-stars. Jimbo Fisher and Co. also remain squarely in the mix for five-star wide receiver Evan Stewart, five-star defensive lineman Shemar Stewart, and five-star linebacker Harold Perkins, among others.
Texas A&M currently holds the No. 3 class in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings, just behind Alabama and Georgia. The Aggies have a legitimate path to the No. 1 class in the country. And they would almost guarantee it with the commitments of both Stewarts and Harold Perkins. Look for this race to be one that goes past the early signing period and all the way through to February.
