The drama between Jimbo Fisher and Nick Saban is far from over, and the Texas A&M coach is getting tired of having to defend his position.

On Monday, an exclusive interview featuring Fisher with KSAT 12’s Greg Simmons addressed the recent controversy and NIL as a whole. You can check out parts of the interview below, including moments where the Aggies coach was indisputably fed up.

“I have no idea,” responded Fisher, when asked if the situation is part of a bigger picture problem regarding NIL. “I have no idea. NIL wasn’t a problem.”

Additionally, Fisher was asked why the Aggies seem to be better at NIL than anyone in the country, which he strongly denied.

“We’re not .. No,” strongly stated the Texas A&M coach.

Of course, Saban was brought up, but Fisher remains steadfast in not talking to the Alabama coach.

“I don’t know, you have to ask him,” Fisher added, when asked if the rumors could’ve motivated Saban to speak out.

As you can see, Fisher isn’t happy with the way Texas A&M has been portrayed by the media in the NIL era. During the interview, the Aggies leader stated that he believes all the drama stems from lies the media has told about his program.

“That’s all false,” Fisher stated, talking about Texas A&M being portrayed as some kind of NIL superpower. “It was written on social media so everyone believed it. And you got news channels believing it, big people believing it.

“.. You just assumed. That’s the way this world goes now. Something gets written on social media and you guys believe it. .. It’s because social media and media put it out. .. What’s the truth? Nobody wants the truth. You want a story and a click and a hit. .. I know the truth. I’ve always known the truth.”

Texas A&M is on the rise, but Jimbo Fisher is on a tear of defending the Aggies through NIL rumors and Nick Saban comments. The questions won’t stop coming, and the football world will continue to keep their eyes and ears on what Fisher has to say next.
