The Aggies were shorthanded coming into their showdown with Florida, missing at least 25 players due to injuries, sickness and other reasons. Unfortunately the bad news continued into the postgame press appearance by Fisher after the 41-24 loss — where he shared that Diggs and Harmon had suffered season-ending injuries.
The loss was the Aggies’ fifth in a row, the first time since 1980 that Texas A&M has lost five straight.
